Metso has signed an agreement to acquire Q&R Industrial Hoses, a trusted name with more than 40 years of expertise in custom rubber hose and bend solutions, rubber-to-metal linings, and high-quality expansion joints and pinch valve sleeves. Q&R brings a strong reputation for quality in-house manufacturing and service across the mining and quarrying industries.
This acquisition marks another step in Metso’s commitment to offer comprehensive, end-to-end slurry handling solutions and services for its customers. Following Metso’s valve and process control offering acquisition of Jindex Pty Ltd. in 2024 and the existing Trellex hose system, the addition of Q&R Industrial Hoses will further enhance Metso’s portfolio.
