Recently, there has been an increasing demand for plants with smaller capacities. This would allow mining companies to expand their value chain and support decentralized steel-making concepts like mini-mills. To answer this demand, Metso Outotec has designed Compact-sized Pellet Plant.

The plant's design is based on a 3 meters wide indurating machine, built on the state-of-the-art design of Metso Outotec’s larger product range. The new Compact-sized Pellet Plant offers the same high plant performance and premium product quality as the larger capacity plants.

Mr. Matthias Gabriel, Director of Ferrous Product Group, will share more in-depth information about Metso Outotec’s Compact-sized Pellet Plant in an upcoming webinar. Mr. Matthias Gabriel

Director Product Group Ferrous

Matthias Gabriel is heading the product group Ferrous at Metso Outotec in Germany, including iron ore pelletizing and sintering technologies. Since he joined Metso Outotec in 2010, he has worked in multiple roles in Ferrous engineering and engineering line management and was actively introducing product management and standardization principles into the field of pellet plants. He holds academic degrees from Technical University of Freiberg, Germany and University of Warwick, UK.
